The Fertile Fields of Community Violence

+WonderfulWildlife
It's a very difficult world for far too many children.

Many families have experienced repeated generations of poverty, oppression and harassment which has created a sense of desperation and an "I couldn't care less" philosophy about consequences, both immediate or long term.

When your parents, family, friends' parents and family are all stuck in the gears of the system, a child doesn't see much use to doing anything productive ever. "What's the use?"

This does not ever excuse violence against others, but if we don't understand the fertile ground we've tilled that grows violence, we are only spectators and victims of violence instead of becoming active participants in reforming and healing.
